The theme for our 2012 Stewardship Campaign is the “Joy of Generosity” with an emphasis on our vows of membership — promising to support our church with our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness.
Many ministry areas of our church are flourishing:
The Children’s Ministry is rapidly expanding
People of all ages are joining the church
The Music Ministry increasingly enriches and inspires us
Worship attendance is up 5%
The Youth Ministry deepens the faith of our young people and more closely connects them to the whole church
Our Mission, Outreach and Justice ministries are making a difference in our community
A flourishing and growing church requires increased financial support. Our goal for 2012 is $2,900,000 - an increase of 3.6%. We are asking everyone in our church to increase their giving as much as they are able, but at least by 2%, 4%, or 6%. We will report our progress on March 25.
The focus for three successive Sundays will be on the success and needs of the following areas:
February 5 Children’s Ministry — Mark Burrows
February 12 Music Ministry — Taylor Davis
February 19 Youth Ministry — Casey Langley
We are fortunate to be part of such a dynamic and growing church. Our most heartfelt thanks go out to all the people who support our ministries. Let each of us do all we can to expand our mission of witnessing to God’s love in this community and beyond.
